Summary:
Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the Visual Inspector supports in-process and final inspection for part and products and the point person for these activities in the visual inspection area.
All activity will require the use of microscopes, some mechanical inspection tools and working in a clean room environment.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Visually inspects parts and products for defects.
Completes any and all paperwork as required.
Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
Comply with all quality and safety regulations and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Knowledge of reading and understanding drawings, applying visual inspection criteria from Company procedures and practices.
Understand and have experience with microscopes at magnification levels of 10x to 50x.
Attention to detail.
Education and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or GED.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds intermittently.
Ability to sit 100% of workday and occasionally bend or twist.
